Cheers Kris NEWS RELEASE Shropshire Green Drinks Launch This Wednesday (March 5th) at 8pm at the Armoury pub in Shrewsbury, the internationally acclaimed Green Drinks phenomenon is coming to Shropshire. This week, the eagerly awaited green event will open the doors to Shropshire environmentalists of all ages. Already, the sessions are drawing interest from across the county. From now on, Green Drinks sessions will be held on the first Wednesday of every month. Anyone who works with or has an active interest in the environment or sustainability is invited to come along. Green Drinks Shropshire is being hosted by Marches Energy Agency (MEA), with backing from SEtNEt. MEA are a locally based climate change charity and are supporting SEtNEt’s aims of helping to improve environmental networking in the county. Nancy Davies of MEA said “We’re really looking forward to meeting people from the huge range of environmental businesses, charities and other groups that we have in Shropshire.” “Although the events haven’t yet started, we’ve already been receiving interest in the monthly sessions from right across the county. The sessions open up a great opportunity for people to make business connections, find out more about all the great environmental work going on in Shropshire or simply to have the chance for a good chin wag about the issues that matter to them. Anyone interested in coming along to Shropshire Green Drinks is invited to come along on the night and look out for the Shropshire Green Drinks sign on one of the tables.
