Young Councillors
As a Parish Council we believe it is important that the young people of the parish have representation on the Council. To that end we are seeking to co-opt two residents aged between 14 and 18 years to sit on Council to represent the views of their peers with regards to the provision of facilities and services in Bayston Hill.
We are keen to progress this as soon as possible and urge any young person within the age group above, who feel they would like to be considered as a Young Councillor, to write a letter introducing themselves to the Parish Council. This can be posted or delivered by hand to the Parish Clerk at the Parish Office in Lyth Hill Road.
Before composing your letter to the Council you may like to speak to Anne Chalkley, Parish Clerk, who will be pleased to give you some idea of what the role of a Young Councillor will entail. Please feel free to either drop in or telephone her on 01743 874651.
