About the Partnership

The Bridgnorth District Community Partnership was formed in 2000 to bring together partners and community members to foster joint action on issues important to the District of Bridgnorth.

The partnership is part of a family of strategic partnerships across Shropshire. At a local level, Parish Plans set out key issues for local communities, the Bridgnorth District Community Strategy sets our priorities for joint working at a District level and at a Regional level. Countywide priorities, targets and action plans are expressed through the Shropshire Partnership Community Strategy which is delivered by the Shropshire Partnership.

Each District in Shropshire has its own Local Strategic Partnership that fits into this family. The Chair of each District Partnership sits on the Shropshire Partnership.
