Clun Valley Good Neighbours Scheme

This scheme covers the whole of Clunbury Parish.
When help is needed either for yourself or a neighbour or a friend please contact the scheme on 01588 640016.
The scheme is voluntary, but if you are driven anywhere you will be asked to make a contribution to cover the cost of petrol.
The scheme would be pleased to hear from anyone who is willing to join the list of volunteers. The scheme is run by a committee of local people and depends on the goodwill of volunteers throughout the valley.
The aim of the scheme is to help anyone in the area who needs a good neighbour from time to time. This might include:
- Help at times of illness or in an emergency.
- Transport
- Collecting prescriptions, changing library books.
- Shopping and visiting can be arranged.
Except for emergencies, it is not intended to duplicate services carried out by other agencies.
